Thank you so much to everyone for your patience as we've been rolling out these rewards. The latest and greatest news: YOUR EARLY RELEASE E-BOOK HAS BEEN SENT.
They were sent via BookFunnel's certified delivery system. IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE IT, PLEASE SEND A MESSAGE.

The initial upload revealed an issue with the maps. Thankfully, we were able to correct that, but a few of you had already downloaded your copy.

Here's how the rest of the fulfillment is looking....
The standard edition paperbacks and hardbacks have been ORDERED. They are expected to arrive 15 December!
The limited edition e-books should go out before Christmas (earlier than expected)
The limited edition hardbacks are set for January release (on schedule)
FYI, the bonus deleted scenes are in all three versions of the standard edition (e-book, paperback, and hardback). These scenes were supposed to be separate, but a lot of people reported not receiving the email containing them.
It cost more to add them into the print copies, but y'all are amazing, and I'm doing everything I can to ensure everyone gets their bonus rewards.
Anyone who ordered a standard edition hardback
Anyone who pledged at the CLUE #3 level (hardback bundle) or higher gets a special bonus scene that happens between the time Kat receives the scavenger hunt and when she leaves for Romania.
That bonus scene will go out when the hardbacks are sent out. This one will not be in the print book, so be looking for it through digital delivery.

The same applies to everyone who grabbed the $4 ON THE 4TH deal - your items will be delivered digitally when thost print copies go out.

Some things have changed since the pandemic. I saw this when I was there in 2022, and a friend confirmed it when she was there this past October.
I want to make sure the trip-planning section is as accurate as possible, so I'm double-checking certain things and doing some extra research. BUT I do have the cover, and I'm really excited to share that soon!

Be sure to check your emails. You should have one titled SURPRISE! First deleted scene from AWAKEN THE DAWN.
This is part of your Stretch Goal #1 bonus!
There aren't any spoilers in these chapters (which is why I decided to send them), but it's important to remember they're from a completely different/outdated version of the book. So just think of this old opening as an introduction to the characters. It will also give you a glimpse into how the characters and story have evolved.
The early pre-release ebook for Awaken the Dawn is scheduled to hit inboxes THIS FRIDAY. Print books will be on the way next month (December), and the limited edition hardback is projected for January (though, the limited edition ebooks should arrive before Christmas).
Comment below or send a message if you did not receive this first part of Stretch Goal #1. The sender was BookFunnel, and that's how the ebook of Awaken the Dawn will arrive as well (via BookFunnel's certified delivery system).

Hello! The lastest update....
Awaken the Dawn has entered the FORMATTING stage! From here, this is what the process *should* look like (as long as we don't hit any unforeseen snags or issues):
1. Early pre-release ebooks will be ready first, so these will be sent first. I'll be using BookFunnel, which will include instructions for sending your ebook to the e-reader of your choice.
This will include any other digital extras you should be receiving (i.e., deleted scenes, items from $4 ON THE 4TH, etc.).
*See note below about deleted scenes.
2. Early pre-release PRINT copies will be mailed, along with whatever add-ons/extras are in your order (i.e., t-shirts, flag pins, postcards).
3. Limited Edition ebooks will be the next to go out (expect those in January).
4. Limited Edition print books will be last (expect those before month's end in January.
NOTE ABOUT DELETED SCENES: I was planning to send some of these in advance of the ebooks, but my concern has been the spoilers.
For this reason (due to the spoilers), I've decided to send the deleted scenes with the ebooks. I'd rather err on the side of caution than to ruin someone's reading experience.

Bună dimineaţa! I'm very excited to announce that the book has finished the first round of proofreading and has been sent off for the second round. After this, it will just need to be formatted...and that's it!
