About the Hardback
The hardback casing will be matte with a black and white image of the old cover (just the alley without the silhouette of Kat), while this beautiful artwork will be featured on the dust jacket.
Color interior, 115 gsm coated paper (similar to what you'd find in a photo book), premium title
About the Artwork
Here's a little bit of info about the cover art (by Kilex_Ka)...
You'll notice the clues mixed into the artwork, which is fun and beautiful, but the way some clues are more hidden than others pays homage to the fact that some truths are more hidden than others (in real life, and also in the story).
A lot of the book involves Kat hitting brick walls while trying to solve the scavenger hunt and learn what her father, Nicholas Barrett, was really involved in (hence the bricks in the foreground and the brick wall in the background). Part of Kat's character arc, in fact, is the way she must face her fears in order to overcome these obstacles. In one instance, she has to scale an actual, legit wall in order to get away from the bad guys (if you've read the book, you'll know what this is a reference to).
The rubble/rocks are something that come into play at the end of the book, but they're also symbolic of the way these characters' lives (mostly Kat and Maksim, but even the villains) have collided -- living stones that form this structure in the artwork, something that contains both light and shadows, good and bad, truth and lies, good intentions and bad intentions.
All the characters' stories, motives, past experiences, strengths, weaknesses are built on top of each other in a various unique and sometimes haphazard ways. Only the solid parts remain intact by the end.

Don't forget, this deal ends after Sunday, September 22!
